Where was Buddha born? Nepal or India? Nepalis believe he was born in Tilaurakot in Lumbini of Nepal. Indians insist he was born in Piparwaha of UP. Finally, the debate seems to be over: British arecheologists working on a UNESCO project in Nepal say they expect to receive within weeks carbon-dating results that will confirm Tilaurakot as the actual birth-place of Buddha.
